September - April: Monday - Friday: 11:30am - 1:30pm and 3 - 5pm.
May - August: Available upon request. Ask at the Library Service Desk.

AskAway Research Help Live Chat

Emily Carr Library staff are available for online chat Monday - Friday 12 - 4pm. If we miss your chat request, or you are using AskAway outside of those times, you will get help from another BC post-secondary library team member.

Library Research Help is a collaborative service where students can get support and guidance with library research. You can visit the research help desk or book a consultation meeting with any member of our research help team. Meetings can take place over Zoom, or in-person, and cover all phases and aspects of the research process, including concept mapping, searching, selecting, accessing, and evaluating resources.
