StudentAidBC is a need?based assistance program that combines federal and provincial funds for Canadian students. The amount of assistance that students are eligible for is based upon their financial situation and sometimes that of their family.

...a Canadian student from another province or territory.

For Canadian students who have not fulfilled BC residency requirements, but who wish to apply for student loans, please contact your appropriate home province for information.

... a part-time student.

Students who are studying part-time in a degree program may be eligible to apply for the Canadian federal part-time loan program, along with specified grants, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

... an American citizen.
