Creative Writing (CSSC 100)

Learn to express yourself through the prose, poetry, fiction, non fiction and screenwriting in this introductory course. Merging creativity with technique, this course introduces various forms of contemporary creative writing practices that can expand your storytelling skills and complement other creative practices. Through writing prompts and in-class exercises, as well as peer and instructor feedback, you will be introduced to different forms of writing, and techniques for finding your voice. Whether you are new to writing, have a story waiting to be told, or are looking for a creative outlet, this course can help you workshop writing ideas and expand your creative literary potential.
